How We Started

Phantasic Lair began in 2014 when our founder, after years working in commercial horticulture, realized something important was missing. Large-scale operations focused on efficiency and uniformity, but gardens are personal. They should reflect the people who use them and the specific character of their location.

Starting with a small van and a commitment to doing things differently, we took on residential projects where we could work closely with homeowners. Those early clients trusted us to reimagine their outdoor spaces, and many remain with us today for ongoing maintenance.

What began as one person's vision has grown into a skilled team, but our fundamental approach hasn't changed. We still believe that the best gardens emerge from understanding both the land and the people who'll enjoy it.
